Itinerary
DAY 01 : Arrive Delhi
Welcome on arrival at Delhi and transfer to hotel. Rest of the time at leisure. Afternoon sightseeing of Old & New Delhi. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.
DAY 02 : Delhi – Bangalore
After early breakfast departure transfer to airport to take the flight for Bangalore.
Arrive Bangalore and transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Bangalore known as garden city – visit Bull Temple to view the awesome monolithic deity which draws devotees from all over the country.
Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel in Bangalore.
DAY 03 : Bangalore
After breakfast city sightseeing – visit Lalbagh Botanical Garden, drive past the Vidhan Sabha, Cubbon Park and Ulsoor Lake afternoon free for shopping. Overnight at hotel in Bangalore.
DAY 04 : Bangalore – Mysore
After breakfast departure by road to Mysore(140 km / 3 hrs) enroute visit Sri Rangapatna, where the legendary warrior Tipu Sultan built an exquisite summer palace. Arrive and check –in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing, visiting Mysore Maharaja’s Palace, once the residence of the wodeyars of Karnataka- it is reminiscent of Mysore’s glorious past which you will witness in the carved silver doors, a solid gold throne and gallery of exquisite paintings. St Philomena’s Church. In the evening visit the illuminated Vrindavan garden. Overnight at hotel in Mysore.
DAY 05 : Mysore – Ooty
After breakfast, drive to Ooty (160km /4hrs) the Queen of hill Stations nesteled in the Nilgiri range and popularly known as Ooty. A Britisher Mr. John Sulivan discovered Ooty in 1821, the sheer grandeur of this romantic city is enough to drain anyone out. Afternon, walk around on
Day 06 : Ooty
After breakfast sightseeing of the botanical garden and the museum with the numerous varieties of the ornamental tree and plants is an attraction for all tourists. Ooty’s majestic waterfalls, never ending forests, beautiful tea gardens, picturesque, lush green meadows, placid lake, manicured golf courses that are really spellbinding. Rest of the time at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Ooty.
Day 07 : Ooty – Coonoor – Ooty
After breakfast take a Toy train ride up to Coonoor (17km /2 hrs) a beautiful plantation town. Sightseeing of the impassable maintained Sim’s park, which hosts the annual fruits show in may every year, Dolphin’s Nose, Lamb’s Rock, Laws falls and St. Catherine falls. Evening return back to Ooty . Overnight at the hotel in Ooty.
Day 08 : Ooty – Coimbatore
After breakfast departure transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and take the connecting flight for onward destination.
